Loon in FlightView more work by Wagner Wongittiliin
Wagner has developed a unique method of working with baleen by layering the naturally thin pieces to create a much thicker section of the material. It is a tedious task of cutting and sanding with care and precision to create (in this case) a sleek and graceful loon. The wings are finely inlaid with walrus ivory.
