Polar Bear Head Cribbage Board with Old Ivory SealsView more work by Vince Pikoganna
Vince has done this board in the style of his father, Aloysius Pikonganna. The ivory used for this board- both new and fossil- is near perfect. The four seals going the length of the board are fossil ivory pieces of varying colors and hues. The board is set on two ivory seals and has the traditional baleen "runners" on each side, secured with ivory eyelets. The ivory pegs are secured in the polar bear's mouth by a fossil ivory tongue.
